Burrata and Parma Ham Salad

 Here is my take on Burrata and Parma Ham Salad. This recipe uses simple ingredients, a perfect idea of a wonderful appetizer.  Similar to mozzarella, burrata is made from stretched mozzarella and cream cheese. It is formed into a pocket where the outer surface is solid cheese and the inside is filled with a softer cheese called stracciatella, a mixture of mozzarella and cream.  On the other hand, Parma ham is an Italian cured ham produced specifically in the Parma region of Italy. It is a ham dry-cured for a minimum of 12 months then thinly sliced and served.
